With the opening of Art for Everyone, a week-long exhibition that makes visual art more accessible and collectible, SM City Baliwag has transformed its mall atrium into a colorful celebration of Filipino artistry.
The exhibit, which runs through July 17, reimagines the typical gallery experience by turning a public area into a vibrant hub where visitors, art enthusiasts, cultural advocates, and collectors can find, admire, and purchase original works produced by at least 115 gifted visual artists from Bulacan. Art for Everyone is more than just an exhibition; it's a platform that fosters strong cultural ties with the community and empowers local artists, especially young and up-and-coming ones.
The exhibit, which officially opened on July 4, features 310 works of art, including paintings, mixed-media pieces, and digital art that showcase the province's rich artistic legacy and modern creative expression. Alumni of Bulacan State University College of Architecture & Fine Arts, the Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office (PHACTO), the Baliwag Tourism Office, the JEFARCA Arts and Historical Society Inc., Bahaghari ng Malolos, Sibul, Katha, Lumina Art Group, Ugnayang Sining Tomasino, San Rafael Art Colektiv, and Lunday Hagonoy Art Group are all partners in the exhibition.
