Fly Back-to-School with AirAsia Philippines for as Low as Php208 One-Way Base Fare



AirAsia Philippines is lowering the cost of travel for students and young tourists returning from summer vacation by offering one-way base tickets as low as Php208 as the back-to-school season approaches.

For travel between June 2 and November 30, 2025, this promotion is a part of AirAsia's ongoing End-of-Summer Sale, which is the ideal chance for students to return to school with extra savings in their pockets. The sale runs from June 2 to June 15, 2025.

“A significant part of our market consists of young travelers, with those aged 2 to 24 making up 20% of our guests last 2024. At AirAsia, it is important to make journeys meaningful, especially when  it  concerns education. In keeping with its dedication to passenger safety, AirAsia Philippines is also advising all travelers to practice good hygiene in light of the continuing MPOX health precautions.  The use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, especially after disembarking, frequent hand washing, and appropriate coughing and sneezing techniques are all advised for travelers.

AirAsia Philippines hits 3 Million Guests in 1H 2025, records 85% Load Factor



With almost 3 million passengers served nationwide and internationally so far this year, AirAsia Philippines is pleased to celebrate a successful first half of 2025.

At 85%, the airline likewise demonstrated a great load factor performance, with Taipei ranking as the top international destination and Puerto Princesa as the top domestic destination.

To maintain its strong momentum in foreign travel, AirAsia has boosted flight frequency on numerous major routes. Flights to Kota Kinabalu have been upgraded from three to seven times per week.  Beginning July 1, flights to Taipei will increase from 14 to 17 times each week. These changes are intended to improve connectivity and provide more flexibility for both leisure and business travelers.

As part of its commitment to reinvigorate  travel among Filipinos, AirAsia recently launched over 400,000 promo seats to boost travel during the late summer and off-peak seasons.

From now until June 1, 2025, travelers can book one-way base fares for as low as PHP 185 to favorite island destinations including Boracay (via Caticlan), Kalibo, Bohol (Tagbilaran), and Puerto Princesa. The travel period runs from May 5 to October 31, 2025, perfect for spontaneous getaways or early planning for less crowded adventures.

AirAsia Philippines Takes Guests on a Summer Food Adventure onboard

AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla shares the newest Santan refreshing drinks with guests at the NAIA Terminal 3 check-in counter.


As the summer season heats up, AirAsia Philippines is elevating guests' inflight travel experience with a variety of affordable summer menu options from Santan, the airline’s f&b service provider.

From light snacks to refreshing drinks, Santan has released its new season menu, where travelers can choose their favorite summer tastes while onboard with options including light snack combos paired with a choice of Santan beverages such as Hot or Iced Americano, Jasmine Tea, Hot Chocolate, or the crowd-favorite Coconut Latte for as low as Php 150.

The official airline partner of Love Boracay 2025 is AirAsia Philippines



AirAsia Philippines strengthens its commitment to promote local tourism as it takes flight as the official airline partner of the Love Boracay 2025 campaign.

As part of this commitment, AirAsia is offering an exciting Php 544 one-way base fare to Caticlan.The Boracay Summer Fiesta seat sale runs from April 7 to May 4, with a travel period from April 7 to September 30, 2025.

AirAsia Philippines Activates #AlwaysREADY Ngayong Semana Santa 2025 for Peak Holiday Travel



In anticipation of over 100,000 travelers this Holy Week, AirAsia Philippines has activated its #AlwaysREADY Ngayong Semana Santa 2025 to ensure a smooth and safe travel experience for all guests from April 13 to 20, 2025.

Transportation Security Administrator Undersecretary Arthur Bisnar, together with AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla and Spokesperson Steve Dailisan, led an inspection at the airline’s check-in counters to assess preparations for the anticipated surge in passengers. As part of the initiative, the team also distributed Santan Summer drinks to departing guests at NAIA Terminal 3.





In addition, AirAsia Philippines has introduced a new power bank policy to comply with AirAsia Aviation Group recently released guidelines, pending review and approval of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippine.

AirAsia reminds guests that only power banks not exceeding 100 watt-hours (Wh) are allowed onboard. Devices rated between 100Wh and 160Wh require airline approval at the check-in counter. On-board Summer Menu

Coinciding with the busy Holy Week travel period, AirAsia Philippines is bringing summer onboard with the launch of its Santan Summer Menu, featuring the viral Halo-Halo Drink available for pre-booking at only Php 150.




Starting April 22, domestic flyers can enjoy the PHP150 Value Combo Snack Deal—featuring light bites such as Pain au Chocolat or Cheese Puff paired with Santan beverages. AirAsia Philippines Guides Travelers on Safe and Compliant Travel During Election Period



As the 2025 midterm elections draw near and the campaign period kicks off tomorrow, February 11, AirAsia Philippines urges guests to adhere to election-related travel regulations to ensure a safe, smooth, and hassle-free journey.

Guests are encouraged to allocate extra time, at least 2 hours for domestic and 3 hours for international flights, taking into account surge in travellers at the airport, as well as security checkpoints along key routes leading to the airport. 

In adherence to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) directive, AirAsia also advises its guests on the strict compliance to the nationwide election gun ban. Guests seeking exemption from this security procedure may verify the requirements from the COMELEC website

This marks the fifth consecutive month of stable surcharges, further enabling affordable travel.

Domestic flight surcharges range from PHP 117.00 to PHP 342.00, while international flight surcharges range from PHP 385.70 to PHP 2,867.82, depending on the destination.
