Infinix and Pininfarina Announce Strategic Design Partnership to Elevate the Future of Premium Smartphones

A photo captured at Business of Design Week 2025 shows a Pininfarina representative unveiling the new design partnership to the public.

During today's Business of Design Week 2025, Infinix announced a historic strategic alliance with Pininfarina, the renowned Italian design firm with a 95-year history of creating some of the most renowned cars in the world as well as innovative products in industries like yachting, luxury lifestyle, and architecture.  The Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra is expected to be the first smartphone to come out of this partnership, which signals the start of a new flagship design series.

Since 1930, every product bearing the Pininfarina emblem has stood as a marvel of Italian design and ingenuity, from the classic profile of the Alfa Romeo Spider to the renowned curves of the Ferrari Testarossa.  Pininfarina is now bringing its history and way of life, which are rich in style and functionality, to smartphones.  The studio and the industry will both reach a significant milestone with the impending "Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra design by Pininfarina."

With shipments and market share skyrocketing, Infinix enters the partnership at a time of tremendous global momentum.  In Q2 2025, Infinix had the biggest quarter-over-quarter shipment gain in Southeast Asia, according to IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker.  The partnership intends to raise the bar for high-end smartphone craftsmanship and provide upscale, design-driven experiences to a worldwide audience by fusing Pininfarina's renowned design philosophy with Infinix's passion for technological innovation.

"As we collaborate with leading partners across different fields, we are steadily advancing Infinix’s journey toward premiumization. Our work with Pininfarina is an important step in strengthening the design foundation of our future products, beginning with the NOTE 60 Series. This partnership reinforces our commitment to deepening investment in high-end design and establishing a new aesthetic benchmark for future flagship products.” ~Tony Zhao, CEO of Infinix

For nearly a century, our brand has shaped new ways of living, been synonymous with purity, timeless design, and emotion in form — values that perfectly align with Infinix’s vision of innovation.” ~Fabio Calorio, Senior Vice President of Brand at Pininfarina
