Cebu Pacific Showcases Filipino Culture at Australia’s Bondi Festival

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines' leading carrier, has introduced the warmth and richness of Filipino culture to Australia with the opening of the Cebu Pacific Travel Beach Bar at Bondi Beach, a first-of-its-kind heated beach bar that offers visitors to the annual Bondi Festival a unique way to experience the Philippines.

The travel beach bar is surrounded by standing heaters that create a pleasant environment evocative of the Philippine climate, providing the ideal retreat from Australia's cold season.  It also serves Filipino cuisine, music, and a design inspired by the bahay kubo, bringing a taste of the Philippines to Bondi Beach, one of Australia's most renowned locations.

Until July 31, 2025, CEB travelers can purchase one-way all-in tickets to Australia for as little as PHP 7,999.  August 1–December 31, 2025, is the ideal travel window for vacations.

In a groundbreaking partnership that demonstrates CEB's dedication to introducing Filipino fun to the global scene, the travel beach bar is the first airline to be officially recognized as an airline partner of the Bondi Festival.   The Cebu Pacific Travel Beach Bar is open to festival attendees through July 20.

The travel beach bar expands on CEB's Fly to Your Happy Philippines campaign, which is part of the airline's ongoing global initiative to encourage tourists to experience the nation's varied islands in their own special way.

Bondi Beach is a popular beach just outside of central Sydney that draws both locals and visitors due to its expansive sand, surf culture, and relaxed vibe.  The Bondi Festival, a celebration of the arts, live entertainment, and culinary experiences, is held every winter. CEB's travel beach bar with a tropical motif has made it even more thrilling.

With four weekly flights to Melbourne and daily flights between Manila and Sydney, Filipinos can travel to Bondi Beach and other well-known Australian locations.  Year-round exploration is possible in places like Melbourne's Flinders Street Station and Federation Square, Sydney's Bondi Beach, and the Opera House.

CEB launched its Manila-Sydney route in 2014, followed by Manila-Melbourne in 2018. The airline has flown over 250 million passengers as it continues to offer affordable and accessible flights.

CEB operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
