Manila Water, a water concessionaire in the East Zone, has secured a place in the esteemed Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list for the second year in a row, but at an even higher ranking this time.

Manila Water's continuing expansion and operational competence are shown in its rise to 384th place in the 2025 edition, a significant improvement from its 435th position in 2024.

The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 lists the best-performing businesses from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Philippines that make at least $349.4 million annually.  The 2025 list companies collectively made $1.82 trillion in 2024, up from $1.79 trillion the year before.

According to Fortune, the Southeast Asia 500 firms are currently altering global trade dynamics and grabbing industrial capacity that is transferring from China, which is attracting large capital flows. As a result, they are playing an increasingly crucial role in global supply chains.  Southeast Asia's readiness to embrace the industries of the future is further demonstrated by the second annual Fortune Southeast Asia 500, which provides a compelling picture of a region ready to lead in rapidly expanding areas including mining, electric vehicles (EVs), and artificial intelligence (AI).
