AirAsia Philippines is leading the way in a revolutionary procedure that dispels prejudices and promotes inclusive hiring for cabin crew.
From August 20 to August 29, 2025, the World's Best Low Cost airline will welcome applicants for cabin crew positions who are not required to wear traditional formal clothes and full makeup. This will happen every Wednesday from 10 AM to 12NN. Alternatively, they may dress more affordably, with male candidates wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, and relaxed rubber shoes, and female candidates wearing a white shirt, denim skirt, and heels.
Aspirants for cabin crew will experience a more authentic work situation, eschewing the typical runway screening in favor of a selection procedure that is more focused on service and guests. Additionally, they will now have a preview of the Allstar culture, affording each applicant a taste of what it's like to live in the sky before they are hired.
“We are reimagining the way we do our recruitment process to focus more on the essentials---talent, attitude and skills needed to become a successful cabin crew. Awarded for the 8th consecutive time as World’s Best Low-Cost Cabin Crew by Skytrax, not only do we live and breathe the standards of safety, we make sure that the work environment is fun and inclusive. By changing the game, we also wish to take part in the purposeful journeys of cabin crew aspirants who are deserving to live the sky high dream.” ~Suresh Bangah, AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Officer
In addition to a current, non-AI-generated photo, future Allstars must bring an updated CV or resume. They must be prepared to display their most endearing smiles and meet the minimal height criteria based on their body mass index (BMI).
Although college graduates are encouraged to apply, senior high school grads are also invited to do so. It is deemed advantageous to be multilingual or to speak and write English and Filipino fluently.
This is the fourth open day of AirAsia Philippines' recruitment process, opening doors for three batches this year and constantly pooling for intake needs the following year.
